Sabrina Gary

Born in Alabama and raised in Kansas, I have been passionate about music since a young age. My musical journey began in Dodge City, where I played clarinet, served as assistant drum major for two years, and led the band as head drum major in my senior year. I further honed my skills by participating in the Kansas Lions Band from 2017-2019 alongside serving as the Kansas Masonic Marching Band Drum Major in 2019.  I also marched Baritone and Tuba in the Pride of Wildcat Land during my time at K-State, and also performed in Concert Band, Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble. In the 2023 DCI season I marched baritone with The Spirit of Atlanta.

My dedication to music extends beyond performance. II started my degree at Kansas State University and plan to finish it at Missouri Western State University, with a goal of inspiring future generations of musicians.  In the 2023-2024 school year, I gained valuable experience as the head band director in Ulysses, Kansas serving as a long term substitute. Additionally, I completed an administrative internship with the Crossmen during the 2024 season, expanding my knowledge of the music industry.

Throughout my career, I have been driven by a passion for sharing my love of music with others. Whether it's through teaching, performing, or leading a band, I strive to create meaningful musical experiences that resonate with audiences of all ages.
